The Dog Blog: July 16: Welcome back, Snoopy and Lady!

Snoopy's back today! He's been enjoying the summer holidays with his mom, so we haven't seen him for a while, and he's looking healthy - for a 16-year-old! The dogs sure were happy to see him - mobbing him with kisses, as though he's Robert DeNiro or something... We haven't seen Lady (puggle) for a while, either, and she sure was happy to greet all her old friends. She's been playing chase with Pepe (Havanese). Once again, we're having a really busy day. We recruited my mom, Monica, for the day to help out (thanks mom!). So if you saw a new face here this morning while dropping off your dog, that's who it was. :-)

The morning walks are done, and it's really heating up out there. The air con sure feels nice in here... I just finished feeding lunches and we'll take the dogs out again in the afternoon.

* We have Leroy and Peekay staying us for boarding at the moment. Both are doing really great. They've become buddies, and they enjoy playing with our two dogs, Mika and Lexy. They're having fun at the daycare, too.

* Sheraz, Buttons, Mico and Enid are hanging out together. These three girls are the more mature, laidback dogs, just watching the puppies run circles around each other. LOL.

* Marley has been wrestling Spike, LG, Molly and Ozzy. Yuki's right in there too, always happy - tail wagging, ready to play with anyone who'll take him on. And Jasper and Casper (both Coton de Tulear) have been chasing everybody around, their fluffy tails drifting through the air like sailboat sails.

* We actually have two Jaspers here today - the other Jasper is a new puppy (eight-month-old Havanese) who's visiting from out of town for a few days. He's a bit timid but is getting along great so far with all the other dogs. I think it will take more socialization with other dogs his size before we'll see him break out of his shell.

* Bobo has been playing with Danger (both maltipoos) and cuddling up to Yuki.

* Check out this picture below from left to right: Yorkies Spike, LG, Peekay and Max chilling out together. Another Yorkie, Theodore, arrived a bit after we took this photo. He's been chasing after the ball and playing with Max.

* Little Oliver (chi) was happy to come to daycare and has been playing with Emmi (Italian Greyhound). Peanut (min pin) really likes Oliver, too. Emmi's also been wrestling Theodore, the Yorkie.
