Sept. 14: Play, play, play

A fun, furry crowd in here today. Right now, the high-energy pups are chasing each other around on the red ramps in the back.

Check out this hilarious photo of Heidi (shnoodle) to the left. It's like she's kicking her head back, laughing!

The extra-wee ones have their own little pack going, wrestling gently in the front room.

The morning walks are done and we're nearly through feeding lunches. Here's what's been going on:

* In the pack that's playing chase right now, we have Bechler (Boston Terrier), Heidi (shnoodle), Jasper & Casper, Spike & LG, and Muggles.

* Best Dressed competition winners go to the Maltese puppies: Muggles, Zipper & Sprokette. The girls have these adorable little dresses on and Muggles has a Hot Wheels "official mechanic" t-shirt.

* LG seems have a little infatuation for Zipper (pictured left, with her pink hoodie up), following her around everywhere. Maybe it's her new dress. :-)

* Buttons (cockapoo) has a not-so-secret admirer. Little Muggles is trying to woo her by following her and trying to get her to play with him. Buttons is playing hard to get, though. She's more interested in her yummy lunch.

* Dawson (chi) is Little Miss Popular today, frolicking around with most of the doggies - both "big" and small. She was chasing Sprokette and Zipper when they came in, and then Rupert (also a Maltese puppy), and a minute ago was playing with Sebastian (miniature poodle). Sebastian's also been chasing Bechler around.

* Ozzy (Min Pin) has been playing with Zipper & Dawson. And Linus (miniature dachshund) has been playing with Dawson, and giving Max (Yorkie) kisses. Max really likes little Sprokette. His new girlfriend?!

* Rupert's also been playing ball with Muggles and Zipper. Talula (pictured above left, on the chair) has been playing with her brother, Rupert.

* Pictured left: Bechler with the rope toy.

* Sheraz (miniature shnauzer) received a warm welcome from our two - Mika and Lexy - who showered her with kisses and affection. Sheraz gets along great with all the dogs here.

Did your dog eat?

First of all, check out this photo below of Mika with a dried Turkey jerkey treat on her nose. She has a look of intense concentration... she's not allowed to eat the treat until Nigel says, "Okay, go!"

Tough trick for a little piggy of a dog who loooooves food. LOL.

* Please note some dogs have run out of kibble and will need some for next time, if you want us to feed us lunch. Muggles, Zipper & Sprokette need food, and so do Jasper & Casper.

* Sheraz ate all her breakfast.

* Buttons ate all her lunch.

* Dawson ate all.

* Jasper and Casper ate all.

* Muggles, Zipper & Sprokette have run out of kibble.

* Rupert wasn't hungry.

* Ozzy ate quite a lot (most).

* Sebastian ate all his lunch.

* Heidi ate all her lunch.

* Max ate a little bit.
