Priorities: Hometown Pride

Simply put: GO CANUCKS GO.
It's been a rough series. There were dizzying highs and dreadful lows. I'm certain that even the most ardent fans must've had their faith shaken in our boys in blue and green. It took them seven games - SEVEN! - to dispatch the Blackhawks, and the last game went into SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME. Your devoted dog blogger watched the game downtown last night, and let me tell you: the tension was palpable. Hearts were racing, breaths were held, and blood pressure skyrocketed. Nary a word was spoken.

And when they finally pulled it off (God bless Burrows, by the way), Vancouver ERUPTED. There was dancing in the streets. Horns were honking. Impromptu parades took place. The celebration went into the wee hours of the morning. It's continuing today, actually. We're celebrating here at Small Paws. It's been a morning filled with good cheer. We've been busy living it up. And between the gladhanding and glee, we weren't able to take too many pictures today. In fact, we were able to snap only one group photo before we resumed our revelry. The pups lined up and did their best impression of Canucks fans last night - rapt with attention, and eyes focused forward. Enjoy the photo. Enjoy today. Bring on Nashville. Go. Canucks. Go.
