...because s/he gets to come to Small Paws! :D
Oh, but that's not all, dear readers. There is a multitude of reasons why dogs are living the GOOD life, in contrast to their beleaguered human caregivers. As I type this, I need only look a few feet away to see why.
Enjoy the exhibition, and try not to resent your played out pooch come home-time ;)
***
Reason #1: Dogs believe in free love.
They routinely make out with their friends (ahem, Hailey & Molly).
***
Reason 2: The best things in life really are free.
All a dog needs is a ball, and they're set.
***
Reason 3: Dogs don't have to take multivitamins.
Rupert and Talula know what I'm talking about--vitamins taste terrible. The only good vitamins are the ones that come shaped like a certain Stone Age family whose name rhymes with "Mintphones".
***
Reason 4: Stairs are easier when you walk on four legs.
I'm serious. How do I know this? I lived on the fourteenth floor and the elevator once stopped working (to my horror, and my dog's delight), and Nini shows us how easy it is.
***
Reason #5: Dogs don't have to eat vegemite.
'Nuff said.
***
Reason #6: Basket + Puppies = Cute.
Am I right? I mean, humans + basket = candidacy for asylum (or reenactment of the biblical story of Moses), whereas Rocco and Max + Basket = AWWWWWW.
***
Reason #7: Dogs don't have to do paperwork.
Even being near it induces sleepiness, as Mika, Rose, Lexy and Ricky demonstrate.
***
Reason #8: When dogs sprawl out in public, it's sweet...
...as Tuka effortlessly does. But if you or I were to do it, expect uniformed gentlemen asking you to leave the premises (trust me, I know this from personal experience ;)
***
Reason #9: Five letters:
Z-U-K-E-'S!
It's just not fair that Zuke's treats are yummy AND healthy
(lucky Hoover & Lucy!)
***
Reason #10: Dogs play throughout their whole lives.
Lincoln tussles with a ball with vigor despite his seniority, whereas my 14 year old cousin routinely dismisses the game of tag as "kids' stuff".
***
Reason #11: Dogs are straightforward with each other.
Rose: Heidi? I'd really like to clean your ears.
Heidi: ...I'm okay with this.
Rose: (wish fulfilled).
Heidi: (clean ears).
***
Why Dogs May Not Have It Easier Than Humans:
Reason #1: They have to do class photos, too ;)
