You should read this

* There's a cool event coming up on June 20th called Chip's Not Dead Yet Memorial Mile. It's a one mile walk/run up West 10th Ave in Vancouver with a beer garden and entertainment following the race.

But the best part is the Pooch Parade! Owners can bring their dogs and run or walk the race, and dogs are allowed in the beer garden afterwards. It's a fundraiser for the BC Children's Hospital. For more info, visit http://www.chipsnotdeadyet.com/

* Also, we've made a few changes here at the daycare that I should point out. First of all, you'll notice all the report cards are being posted online on this Dog Blog from now on. We've had good feedback that owners like to read not only what their dog has been up to during the day - but everyone else's too. So make sure you check the blog each day at around 2 p.m. If it's a busy day, it may take us until 3 p.m. to update.

* Secondly, a point involving photos. Please note that dogs that arrive after 12 noon may not have their photo taken, as we take all the pictures in the morning (the group photo is usually shot at around 10:30 - 11 a.m.). Sorry about this - we have a tight schedule/routine involving feeding, potty breaks, walks and lunches so we often run out of time in the afternoon to take and send additional photos. Thanks for your cooperation!
