We've got a full house for the Spaw today! Lots of pups getting their hair washed & cut, and nails trimmed. Mmm... smells like a tropical fruit platter back there.
Another lovely, sunny day, but it looks like some dark clouds are rolling in. Round one of walks are done and we'll do another round after the lunches are finished.
So here's what the pups have been up to:
* Scooby's been blasting around, chasing anyone who'll play with him. He mostly likes chasing tail with Rico, Katie and Maximus. He ate all of his lunch. Right now he's trying to attack Mika (chihuahua), and she's fighting back with a vengeance!
* Umber loves getting human attention, and she's just so adorable. Just look at this photo to the left! She's been playing with Molly, the little brown Min Pin. * Molly (Min Pin-cross) and Ozzy (Min Pin) have been inseparable all morning, playing chase all over the ramps in the back, and wrestle. They both got baths in the Spaw today and look extremely cute, and smell good. Molly ate some of her lunch and Ozzy ate all of his.
* Maggie has been in super-play mode. She's starting to tire out now though and is resting on a blanket. Her best buds have been Rico (pug-cross), Lexy (chihuahua-cross), Katie (Sheltie) and Maximus (Yorkie).
* Bailey & Charlie look adorable after their baths! For some reason, Bailey's hair has gone all spikey, like a porcupine's. See the pic to the left. They'll be getting a hair cut after doing some more playing. Charlie has been playing ball with Katie this morning. * Tuka has already left, but he had a good morning hanging out with the pack, and posing for the group photo. Always so obedient here... He loved his walk with Pat and Scooby and got frisky, wanting to play and frolic.
* Katie (Sheltie) used her heat-seeking radar to find the rubber ball, and has been chasing after it with Maximus, Rico, Sebastian, Heidi and Charlie. She's also been playing wrestle with Maximus, Heidi and Maggie. Katie should be a dog model - she's gorgeous.
* Jasper & Casper just gobbled up all their lunch. They were hungry today! Casper's been bolting around the place with Rico and Heidi on the ramps, and wrestling with Heidi. Jasper joined in on the ramps and has been running around. After his lunch he snuck off to his favourite cave for a little rest. He'll get up soon again to see what he's missing out on...
* Rico's been part of the ball-chasing club this morning (see Katie above for more). He also had a good tug-of-war game going with Scooby, and has been running over the ramps with Maggie, Heidi, Jasper and Casper.* Mico has been hanging out with the pack, mingling with everyone. She's been getting along great with all the other dogs and humans, and at the moment is chasing after the ball with Katie and Heidi. She also loved her walk this morning with Pat and Mika. * Maximus arrived around lunch time so he missed the class photo, but he injected a little bit of energy into the pack. He immediately claimed the ball and had a pack of about 4 or 5 dogs chasing him from room to room! He loooooves Heidi.
* Sebastian has also been part of the ball-chasing pack this morning (see Katie above for more). He's been running around, happily, tail wagging, and especially loves Heidi the shnoodle. He wasn't hungry for lunch today.
* Pepe's best buds today are Heidi (shnoodle), Maggie (Cairns Terrier) and Maximus (Yorkie). He also spent a few minutes in the Spaw getting handsome-ified.
* Today was Oliver's first day so it's all very new for him. He's been very brave and mingling with the pack all morning, but no playing ... yet! His best buddy here is Maximus, the Yorkie.
* Heidi's been part of the ball-chasing pack (see Katie above for more). She's also been wrestling lots with Ozzy, Maximus, Rico and Casper.
